Mums & Bubs

These classes are designed to help you regain strength and stability postpartum whilst spending time bonding with your baby. In our studio we require an assessment by your GP before joining the classes. This is to make sure that you are ready to exercise and modifications can be applied if needed.

Bring a baby blanket to lay over our mats and any toys that will help occupy your baby

Mums and bubs classes are great to introduceback some resistancetraining into routine.

Women should work with their health care provider to determinate when physical activity can be resumed post delivery. Resumption may differ based on the type and intensity of the fitness activity. When starting back, activity should be resumed gradually, as soon as medically safe. Woman with higher CRF levels and more rigorous exercise routine prior to and during pregnancy may be able to resume exercise sooner. The health benefits of exercise during postpartum can include improved postpartum recovery, prevention of postpartum weight retention, improvement of mood, and decreased risk of postpartum depressive symptom.
